hey guys, I'm having trouble trying to track down some electrical gremlins.

Here's what I've done to the car recently: Swapped intake manifold, degreed camshaft, some custom gauge cluster work.

Here's what the car doesn't do. Turn signals will not turn out. Two days ago, I put my cluster in to test it out and the right turn signal just stayed lit, wouldnt flash or anything, but the left one worked fine. I didn't think anything of it so I took it out and left the car. Fast Forward to today, put the cluster back in to test it again, and this time nothing with the turn signals work, no dash lights, no exterior lights, no clicking noise. However, they work perfectly with the hazards on. The high beams work as they should with the lights on or off.

I haven't really had much time to mess around with the car, hopefully i'll have more time tomorrow. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

the hazzard light is the last part in the chain that feeds the lights. Being located on the top of the switch it tends to collect dust around its edges and when you push it in(probably while putting the cluster/shroud in) the dust gets inside the switch. Go and try pushing the switch in 10-15 times to clean it out and then try it again.

Also if your light stays on solid that could also mean you have a signal that it burned out so check front and rear as one will be on constant and the other not at all.

right but the hazzards/turns are all built into the same circuit with the multifunction switch. BUT the hazzard switch comes after the turns signal switch so if there is a problem with it, there is a problem with the turn signals. Just humor me, go push the switch in/out 10-12 times and see what happens....

I have had the same problem with mine on two different occasions, but both were right after either turning on the hazzards on purpose, or on accident while removing the cluster like you did. The most recent time was earlier this year with the cluster. Spent two days worried to death about it until I found the schematic for the multifunction switch and remembered this problem. Went down and cycled the switch and it worked perfectly.
