thanks a lot in advance for any suggestions guys.... but i got a couple of questions. 1'st what is the best place to buy a tweecer r/t, and by best i mean customer oriented and someone that is not very friendly when you try to return something or exchange..
2nd once i tune the car or write to the eec can i take the tweecer off of the ecu or do i leave it there and just unhook the usb connector?

I'm asking all of this because i don't want any retard touching my car especially when they tuning rate is very high. i'd rather do it my self and learn who knows maybe i can buy a moates burner and start runing other peoples mustang and get the money i spent back. thanks in advance...

I would try a more specific forum for this. mustangtuning.com has more things to read on this than anyone. there are lots of guys who are more knowledgable in this area. I have had a tweecer rt for about 6 monthes now have been reading NONE STOP and I'm barebly being able to start tuning to make power. I'd get one, have someone on mustang tuning make you a start up tune (usually a cobra derivative if you have 24 # injectors) check them out and read into before you buy. If I had the choice again I'd probably still get a tweecer but I would've read more beforehand.

theres also eectuning.org

best place to buy... go to tweecers website. www.tweecer.com
there is a list of distributors posted there.

2nd, the chip stays intact with the cars computer, once yo u are done tuning, u just disconnect the usb from your computer and off u go.

It is a little tough to deal with at first, but it is a very good tuning tool and works great!

I used to work for a shop that sold the Tweecer (its listed on the tweecer website)....but the guy who tuned with the Tweecer for us, seems to have been abducted by aliens...so pretty much we would just sell the Tweecer units "for the do it yourselfer". But there is lots of E-support on the Tweecer out there from what I see anyways...
