Under drive Pulley Question

Ok..A buddy of mine bought this Mustang Gt a few weeks back for 3 grand.



..He called me up to take a look at the motor etc..Seeing how he never owned a Mustang before..and the first thing I noticed was these pulleys..





The cleanest part under the hood...are these aftermarket? They are Power-coated with a custom paint? Never seen Purple pulleys like this....Have you ever seen them? If so what name brand?

Check the crank pulley, that one usually has the brand on it. I don't know off the top of my head if there are any aftermarket ones that look like that, and I can't remember what my stock ones even looked like lol.

Those look like March pulleys to me

Yeah...They I'm sure they are powder-coated..But the color got me beat...I couldn't see anyone doing that to factory Pulleys?...But now that Fayk..Mentioned March Performance .. I'm at summit racing site now..

I had installed March pulleys on a 96 Cobra and they had the same weird color they look black under certain lighting then look weird/purpley under bright lights. I could be wrong, just going by past experience

You are 100% right...That was the part kicking my butt... I was looking at it under different light...they was Blackish..with a Hint of Purple..depending on the angle you was looking at them...then I took the pics with the light..and all I saw was Purple..Thanks again...They was driving me crazy..Now I can sleep...hahahah...
