Hello!
I have a 1996 Mustang GT that I bought as a project car. Mechanical issues are about 99% done and I was thinking about getting just a little nicer tone and some power out of the car.
The previous owner straight piped the exhaust, cutting out the cats and keeping the mufflers as well as the o2 sensors. I want to know if installing a cat-back system with whatever high performance cats the kit comes with it will work better with the other mods than leaving it straight pipe.
The other mods I want to install are:
-Under drive pulleys
-High flow mufflers (only if I install the cat-back)
-Throttle body & plenum
-PI manifold
Of course, I will be doing a tune to the car after installing the mods, I just want to know if these mods work harmoniously with each other or if this would kill performance more than help.
