Used Bassani X pipe

Is $165.00 too Expensive for a Used Bassani X pipe or is that a good deal? I dont know how long it was on his car though.

i sold my catted bassani x pipe for 200 bucks. it was all stainless steel and in good condition that one doesnt look like its stainless steel. i would pay about 100 bucks for that one at most. it looks like its for a 96-98 though because of the O2 sensors in the back like that though.

Funny you should say that because after looking at it a second time, I thought the same thing.

It is a Bassani though. If you look on the first pic on the "X" you can see the Bassani Stamp.

if i can give a suggestion, if you are looking to buy an o/r x pipe and wanna buy a quality one. i would look into the dr gas x pipe if you have a 5spd car. i can guarantee if you get it you will be more than satisfied. i wish i woulda got one instead of the one i have. i got the jegs x pipe. i paid 165 bucks and ive been more than satisfied with it dont get me wrong. if i could do it over though i would have saved a little longer and got the dr gas x pipe. its a better design and will sound different than any other x pipe on the market guaranteed.

Funny you should say that. Mine does not look like either one of the ones posted. Mine is a one piece that does not come apart, and it has a middle bracket that bolts up to the middle where the tranny mount is.

I just bit the bullet and bought a Bassani from another dealer. My biggest thing at the moment is I really dont want to be spending a boat load of money on this engine, This stuff is ALL going to be for sale next winter. I have a 393 that I am building that will go into it next winter. Some of these parts I can re use, but others........ like I said, big garage sale. I have this all figured out and it is a 4 year project. The intereior is stripped, Heat and AC gone... Rear seat... gone... The cage will go in over the summer and over the next 2 winters will be all the suspension and drive line re work. 4th year will be the paint.
