Hey guys, This is my deal breaking question, I took my fox mustang to get painted and in a nut shell, the car is garbage now. So i can get my hands on a 94gt with no computer or harness. I have a 89mass air harness and a A9L that i was gonna use in my 88gt. SO! can i use this in the 94 with the 88 5.0

i might miss somthing but here goes...you can put a mass air computer (a9l) in a 94gt....as long as you use the corresponding engine harness....as far as dash connectors on the 9498 cars...you might need to re-pin those...and youll need to swap spots for charge air sensor to the driver side of the intake and also move the coolant temp sensor i do believe but i might be wrong on that...not 100%sure....youll also run into some other re-pin issues with trans harness plug and others under hook and inside fenders..you can also delete some of the smog and crap if needed....

to make you life really easy just spend the money and look on ebay and buy a t4m0 computer and harness....they are relativly cheap...and your ensured that everything will be plug and play...but youll have to re-pin the 9495 computer harness if you run a fox eec computer...

im sure i left a few things out but if you do tackle this and you need some help....shoot some pictures to my email and ill help you out....ive been all over the wireing in these sn95's so it should be quick and clean....good luck

dizzy is a nickname most have for the distributor....the sn95 5.0 have the tfi (thick film ignition) module mounted on the pass. side by the front of the strut tower....the foxes have them right on the distributor itself......the reason they moved them in 9495 is due to the problem foxes had with them as far as being right in the middle of the biggest heat source and heat causing them to fail and leave many stranded...by mounting them by the strut tower....they are better off with the air flow and staying cool....
