Valve Covers

Im sure this has been beat to death but i wanted to ask for my specificapplication whatwould work. with that said. Can I put 99-04 valve covers on my 98 without doing the cop conversion? I just want to get the new style covers, paint them white, and put on some nice shiny coil pack covers. can tjis be done witthout convertion to a coil on plug system?

You shouldn't need to make new wires since the spark plugs are in the same location.

It's not easy to make plug wires look good on the COP valve covers.

Here's a couple pics, these are both blower cars, but two different ways to go about it. Both methods look like they relocated the coil packs though:

I'm not sure what the advantage of running the newer style covers is, if you're not going to run COPs. My sig pic is '03 heads with B-head covers and plug wires. Looks clean to me lol...
