video editing!!

i want to create a sick video this spring when i finish up my car. just wondering if anyone has any info on how or where i could achieve this. here is some examples of the type of video i would loooove to have!

Those edits are beyond simplistic. You can do all of that in windows movie maker. The thing that makes the videos is the really nice shots. The pans are extremely smooth which makes a big difference.

yeah the editing itself in those videos isnt anything crazy.....but i've been looking for a good editor too..one that i can speed up past 2.0x also

yea monkey that is true. clean shots and panning in and out smoothly makes these videos. wonder if simply setting the camera on stable and also on youtube stable if it would make it really smooth? lol @ smooth.

dont use youtube's stabilizer it makes everything wobbly and distorted

fuuk yea it does, lol. distorts the shit out of it. but if the camera is set on it and i barely adjust the stable on youtube???? maybe get smooth pans. plus the transition on youtube is gay, lol. takes too long between shots. wonder if you can shorten the length of that??? hmmm

EDIT: i just wouldnt use youtube's stabilizer at all..with tripods and stable video there should be no need for it anyways

yes...def distorting shit! but see how each clip is transitioning into the next real quick...like no pause between each take...how do they do that i wonder??? on youtube i could make a sick video, but say i wanna start with me pulling the car out, then go straight to a clip of me driving downtown or something...ya gotta pick a transition...which the choices are sill, lol. star and heart patterns, lol...gay!

From what I'v seen, camera's and gear, as well as how you take the footage, is more important than post-processing! Love that g37. Im interested in this too as I enjoy camera stuff in all forms.
