It's alot of duration, alot more then I expected. But oh well. This is before I tuned the carb. Wasn't running right, didn't have the butterflies and idle screws done, so it was popping/lean.

Thanks folks. Got exhaust on it now, harness burnt up but it's still running thanks to a few well placed jumpers wires. Just chasing a valvetrain noise from hell. Wondering if my rocker is bad now or something. Really annoying rattle.

Oh and the numbers are skewed some, considering it's 1.7s on a camshaft specs for a 1.6. It's around a 550 lift, duration may be off some, but it's around a 240.

Is it a valve tap? Will it adjust out? Did you replace the valve keepers?

That is one beefy camshaft. Who makes it?

It's actually a lunati. After talking to my motor man, my lifters are pumping up, doesn't seem like a flattened out lobe. Just one rocker likes to talk. Most likely from the previous bad experience with the lifters/cam colliding, their is probably a little bit of junk stuck in the lifter, and its causing it to make some noise. Pretty much all I can do is keep changing the filter/oil, and run it till it gets out. I've adjusted the valves over and over. Everything looks great when I use a opened up valve cover. All my valvetrain is fine, just seems to be a lifter has some crap in it. I've yet to put 1 mile on the car, so I plan on driving it tomorrow night, get a few miles on it. See if I can get that debri to pass through to the filter. Worst case scenario, pop the intake off and clean the lifter/check it. It's only one particular valve to. I have victor JR's on it now, with the spring kit they come with. Titanium keepers etc.

i've never seen a lifter get debris stuck in it, but if there is why would you want it to get to the rest of the motor??? i'd spend the money on a new set and the time to change them.

if you're set on trying to flush it out grab some rotella T, its got additives in it that will allow particles stay suspended in the oil which will pass it to the filter quicker. that is why DSS recommends it in ALL their shortblocks...

are you sure a pushrod isnt clogged preventing oil from reaching the top of the head???
