not to hijack the thread but how are most of you guys getting your cars to the dyno? I doubt my car will idle let alone run after I finish up my blower install. I'm installing a v2, cobra upper and lower, 70mm tb, LMAF, 42lb inj, and 255 pump... I need to contact my tuner to see if he can get me a chip with a base tune just to drive the car to the dyno...

just curious what some of you guys have done.

Ive already got a xcal2 so my tuner is actually writing me a tune for 42 lbers, the 255 pump, PMAS so I can get over there without a problem...of course its only 3 miles away

no obdII for me :crying:, I had an xcal2 for my 98

Thorco - the car will probably run like shit, but it should RUN. You should be fine.

what do you think about driving it 40-50 miles to the tuner though...? I mean, I have no intention of ragging it out or anything. I'd be fine with limping it all the way there if need be.

I think as long as you limp it you'll be fine.

Unplug that LMAF. Your PCM has NO idea what to do with that thing. I just put a very basic startup tune on my SCT chip just so I can limp it over to my buddy's place. But the car ran when it had no meter plugged in. It spit a lot of fuel out the pipes at idle and was probably lean in the middle but if you wind the dist. way back you should be fine as long as you dont stand on it.
