hey guys. I have got a vortech v2 s-trim on order and was wondering what numbers do you think I will be seeing right off the bat with
8lbs? I have a PI intake on there now and thats it. Thanks

You can make more. I made 330/355 at 8-10psi. PI intake and bassani catted X and catback, powerpipe, and accufab tb/plenum.

Now I ported my NPI heads, and have crower stage 2 blower cams, added bassani headers, forged S/B, and a 2.8 RR pulley and am now at 515rwhp/475rwtq.

that would be nice. was that on a dyno jet or mustang dyno. the place im going to has a mustang dyno so how much lower do they tend to read than a regular dyno jet? im hoping to see around 300 at least right off the bat.

yeah i didnt know you were also planning on going with a power pipe, i thought you just were going to run 8psi. general theory is every pound is equivelant to about 10rwhp...so with a 10-11psi setup you should see 300rwhp easily.

yeah, i figure with the power pipe it will add what? another lb of boost? so around 9-10 might get me there right off the bad

wow really 4 psi? that might be too much for me here, dunno how the tuners im going to do there thing, hopefully they re good, they are called The Mustang Shop and have a mustang dyno so im sure they know what they are doing lol......I will have to talk to them when I pick up my stuff from them and maybe order a power pipe and see what they say......maybe I should wait until I intercool to get the power pipe so it may take it down a lb of boost or so lol

yeah you could always do that, just install the standard 8psi kit and see how you like it. In the future if you want more power just throw on a power pipe + intercooler.

cool man, that sounds like the plan then for now, then I can intercool and powerpipe later, with some cams maybe lol im getting ahead of myself here but thats half the fun!!
