Budget has alot to do with the purchase but I am looking into the procharger lineup if you want to check them out.

Vortech/paxton is the best quality, hands down.

Don't buy used unless your willing to send it back to get it refreshed. I would never put a used blower on my car unless I know the previous owner, or I had the head unit refreshed.

Its all gunna come down to what you want man. Centrifugal or a Roots type blower. Centrifugal is going to keep building boost throughout the range of the RPM's(how much boost depends on the pulley size obviously and some other variables) and a Roots type supercharger will produce a fixed amount of boost throughout the RPM range(how much boost also depends on pulley size and some other variables). I got a paxton novi 2000 on mine and it produces more than enough power on 10psi. Your budget is going to be another huge deciding factor. just do some research and see what fits your budget and application best! Hope this helps. Also some superchargers have a self lubricating system and others dont, so it also depends on how much install time you want to invest. OR you could twin turbo it!!

Generally vortechs are cheaper than prochargers, and powerdynes are the cheapest of them all. Most people running are using vortechs, prochargers are big on the mod cars and of course, KB etc. What are you looking for? budget? if you go with a roots (kb whipple) its a fairly straight forward installation, any centri blower (vortech procharger) is more involved. You can do it in a solid day or weekend so long as you have every nut and bolt you need, buying a used kit that is NEVER the case. I bought a used S trim and wound up spending an additional 200 bucks in parts i needed. GL

If the car will mainly be used on the street, a Roots type will be more fun (they've got boost right off idle). If it's a track car or top-speed runner, go with a centrifugal.
