Here in Holland, where Mustangs are quite rare, people get confused by my car. Non-car people think it's a new car. People that know a bit about cars are really confused because they all know the S197 but what is this? It looks new? When I tell them it's 14 years old they are really surprised.
Also, I meet more and more people that say the 05-09 S197 is too "bulky", too square. Look at current car designs: soft, flowing lines are back in, so the 94-98 is back into fashion. I'm predicting the all new 2014 Mustang will be a remake of the 94-98 model...
Oh, and they attract enough (female) attention... Yesterday at a Mustang event:
