water temp guage

i am installing a aftermarket water guage while i am doing the PI swap. can i put the sencor in place of the factory guage sender?

yes. your gause in the dash will be dead though. there is a bung near the drivers side motor mount you could put it in, and have both working.

I was going to do the same thing but i was told by a mechanic that if the stock sender is not operating it can mess up the tune parameters....not certain if its true but i plan on sticking mine in the block and leaving the stock intact just to avoid any gremlins.

well there is 2 senders one for the computer and one for the guage so i dont think that it will screw any thing up.
