sweet!! Just thought it was high for a 180 degree stat. I may be a little low on coolant though. Ill go fix that.

all 180 degree thermostat means is the thermostat opens and allows coolant to flow when the thermostat itself reaches 180 degrees. It doesn't mean the coolant temp is 180 degrees.

Lol, that's another side effect of running a cooler tstat. Ever drove a car without a tstat at all? That takes along ass time to warm up.

yeah my other stang doesnt have a T stat. But that was because I was pissed off and couldnt get it to sit right in the 289 manifold so I said screw it. Its not like i even drive it.

IMO I Dont like mine running that warm. In cold Im about 175-180... In 90+ Im about 190-200

My Wrangler, brand new BTW, runs at about 215, always.

The hotter it runs, the more fuel efficient, less emissions, and even better throttle response. They do it on purpose.
