94 cobra only mods i know of are bbk shortys bbk intake and a cam not sure of specs, car has 126k miles, now onto the issues,

Once driving and putting the car in nuetral and coasting to a stop it will idle hang at 2k even for a few secs after stopping

Last issue jus started the car will some times take several trys to fire it will jus spin over and once it does crank it idles weird from like 700-1400 rpms then settles after about a min

the hanging idle is a common issue. You can build a restrictor plate for the intake (there are a few write ups on here.)

also, since winter is coming, check your battery and replace your fuel filter. These can help your car start on the first crank.

Erratic idle sounds like it may be a bad TPS.
I was going to say the same thing.
Mine had a hanging idle issue mainly in the cooler months. I tried base idle reset, cleaning IAC, different IAC, clean MAF and IAT sensors. all did nothing. Afriend of mine gave me a 65mm TB and it came with a new TPS and my has been stable every since. I did a continuity test on the old one and found some dead spots in the rheostat.

Iac and maf were cleaned maybe a week or so ago.. Thought it would help with hanging idle

Like ive gone out the past 3 hrs and cranked it several times and has fired right up each time but last night (after running around earlier yesterday) i went to take the wife out to eat and thought hell i will take her in the cobra wouldnt crank at all, after 20mins of tryin it finally fired right up, ran ruff for a min or so and went right back to normal

My first guess is the PIP (Hall Effect Sensor) is starting to fail.

the PIP is the electronic pick-up inside of the dizzy. (profile ignition pick-up)
It is common for the 5.0's dizzy problems like your having too. Especially where your miles are.
You can replace just the PIP (but you'll have to completely disassemble the dizzy to get to it. or get a new or remanned dizzy from the parts house.
