Yep sold it and miss it.. The guy did get a great car.. So I had the car about 16 months.. Paid $4800 for it.. The first 12 months were good but the last 4 have emptied the pockets and made me :dontknow: :angry7: :sad5: :crybaby2: :angry4: :BangHead: :violent1: :tard: :fart: :huh: :angry:......About 2 weeks ago I listed my car for sale for the price of $5700.. The car was 90% sold this Sunday until the potential buyer got outta the car after the test drive and said he smelt anti-freeze... There was nothing leaking so he checked the oil.. 1 quart too full and green/white/brown oil... That scared him away and left me very :dontknow:
The car ran as good as it should have but it wasn't " fast " enough.. When is it ever? Hey I wanna see 12's this season so lets get a vortech and put it on a 113k car.. That should do it.. It would have.......... But this happens
Spoiled the plan and emptied my pockets....
After the head gaskets were changed the car was fine besides having an anti-freeze issue twice, which a new radiator cap solved...... So $13,000+ dollars in receipts
later, I got fed up and realized the car is worth $5,000 why dump all this money into it? Rims, tie rods, sway bars, gears, aluminum driveshaft, mufflers, allignments, tunes, suspension, headlights, tires, paint, brakes, etc... Decided I would either wait till spring and get the heads checked and gaskets replaced, put the car back to stock and list it at $5200 and sell the supercharger kit seperately for $1400 or sell the car now for $3700 as is without any rims/tires on it.. I decided on selling it how it sits now for $3700... I went this route because if by chance the problem still happens after the gasket change it would prob mean theres a crack in the block resulting in wasting all that money on gaskets ( again ) and having to buy a 302 block.... Time, Cost, and Labor would kill me.. I figured i'd be better off just cutting my losses and move on..
It went through a good amount of changes::
and how it sits now::
Already regretting it.. sold it for $3850 with 2 brand new GSD3 295/35/18 tires..... Stupid price.. Guy got a deal.. I'm still almost positive the headgasket is not blown.
