Im awaiting a pending sale on my Jeep I had for the winter, selling it for a grand..then going on to buying CMS stage II n/a cams, intake, etc.

I'm praying with some good tires I can run at least 8.50's in the 1/8th mile with the pi swap. All my bolt ons are done, and I'm getting shorty headers..decking the heads as well.

Also praying to hit 300hp/300 tq. But I suppose we will see.

Im realizing how expensive this is going to be, as parts alone (gaskets, etc) are not cheap, as well as replacing the timing chain, which I dont have to do but is probably a good idea. (200 dollars..)

Also gotta buy a tuner (300 bucks) to have the car tuned properly, unless anyone else knows any other way. I just hope this all goes smoothly when it comes to do the PI swap. Aiming to start with a buddy friday afternoon..hope to finish sunday night.

good luck man. all i got to say about PI swap is this.

Go buy a 10mm 5 degree ratchet wrench, it will save you LOADS of time on the power steering pump.

and to get the back 3 head bolts on the driver side out, take all the others out, lift the bolts until they hit the brake master cylinder and hold them, then the other person lifts the head off the block like 3-4 inches, and wiggle it, the head bolts will pop right out.

do the exact opposite to get the new ones in.
