So, I was totally set on getting some MPH custom grind blower cams/springs. So I called Tim to place my order and he gave me his thoughts. He told me i would see 25-30rwhp from his $600 cams, or I can buy some PI cams and see anywhere from 20-30rwhp. Soo, why wouldnt I buy a set of $200 cams and see about the same results. Also, I wont need to get them degreed nor will I need springs. So, Im really happy that he was honest with me, and now im in the market for some PI cams. Does anybody know where I can get a set of New PI cams other than ford? or does everybody just buy used?

yeah man im really happy, just saved myself about $700.

So I have to make sure these cams are Romeo right, because thats what my motor is.

Do I need new springs?

Does anybody know where to get new ones, just curious to see how much they go for new?

Why do the cams HAVE to be Romeo? You can just get new cam gears from Ford if the cams have pressed on gears.

Hell yeah Congo Rats man! I think when I get my motor complete I will take it to Tim and let him tune it. It's only a 3 hour drive and from everything I have read about his company they are top notch! :thumb:

Only reason im not swapping the springs is because motor only has 46k original miles, no way anything should be wrong with them. Does anybody know how much Ford sells new PI cams for?

They don't need to be Romeo., Windsor cams are awesome because you can't jack up the timing on them, and they are usually half the price. BTW there's no reason not to use used cams.

Why not get your brand new PI cams from Randy Stinchcomb
at Liberty Ford Randy is a great guy to deal with.

you do relize that the pi cams aren't designed for superchargers and it won't make nearly as much power as the blower cams...

Even though you have incredibly low milage, still would not be a bad idea to change up your springs!
