Went to the 1/4 last sunday

It was my 1st time down the 1/4 and I must say it is much funner then the 1/8th lol. I ran a best of 13.3 at 104 with a 1.9 60ft and 8.5 1/8th. There was still a little spinning of the line so I think im going to look into some lower control arms. I did beat a challenger srt8 while I was there :headbang:.

Do you have any suspension mods? Also what kind of numbers is your car putting down?

I have sub frame connectors eibach springs and shocks(not drag shocks I'm pretty sure, they where on the car when i bought it). I put down just under 300hp and 350tq like 3 week's ago on a dino jet. I still have stock header's and head's, but they should be out of there by april I hope. Oh and I went to thunder vallie.

Alright thanks. My car is making about the same power with all the same mods except I have lower+upper control arms, and 3:73 gears. Trying to figure out an estimate of what I might run..

I think with lowers and uppers you should be able to hook good enough to get pretty close to 12's. Or at least that is what I'm hoping

Nice ##'s!!! I ran 14.5 @ 100 at Bandimere. it was a density altitude of about 8400FT though. I put down 300 and 344 at the dyno last summer on a crappy tune. I got a dyno lined up sometime this month, should put down more.

I'm running some 315 nitto 555R's. I think the altitude for the track I went to is somewhere between 300-400 FT.

I think it was a auto srt8, he only ran a 13.6. There was a orange one there running high 12's. I just ordered some LT's and I'm going to get some LCA in the next few weeks. Ill have to go back after I put thoughts on.

if you buy lower control arms, you need to get HPM Mega Bite Juniors. Or as they are sold now, get the ford racing lower control arms while you can. (hpm made them for them, they come in hpm boxes AND hpm instructions. i love them great traction. EASY to install and 2 settins 85% over stock and the bad boy 135% over stock.... mine are left on 135%

Well I ended up getting getting some BBK LT's a set of Hoosier 28x10's and a meth kit. Went out to thunder valley again and only got 3 passes in :angry4:. My 1st pass i didn't check the tire psi and ended up doing a one wheel wonder and ran a 13.1 with a 1.9 60ft, second pass I bogged and went 13.2. Now the 3rd pass felt GREAT low 1.8 60ft and I was sure I was going to hit 12's............. then i missed 3rd................ I was so pissed lol. Here are the videos in order.

P.S. Slicks feel crazy going down the track.
