I bought my car with a good list of mods done , one of wich was a cam. I'm tired of not knowing my specs and think I could get a better suited cam for my current set up than what's in it. My mods are in my sig. I don't want a letter cam , I personally hate them. I know custom is the way to go but don't feel like doing that at this time. I plan to spray the car (100 shot) , also going to get some port work done soon. By this time next year my goal is to have a 351 in this car and this motor in a ranger , but for the time being what would you suggest?

I have the stage1 myself. Has a good sound to it as I started collecting compliments on the sound as soon as it was in, also has good reliability and performance for street use.

Call LUnati and pick their brains.... they probably have a cam on the shelf that will match perfectly... and you cant go wrong with the name Voodoo... hhaha. I have used them repeatedly, with only one hiccup.... I had a cam wipe the lobes, and it was cuz my dumbass didnt listen to them when they said to replace the valve springs (too much seat pressure) and use their lube to install the cam.

Best I can tell , tfs stage 1 is 499/510 , power range goes to 6000 rpm. Dose that sound right? Right now , what ever is in there it pulls hard to @6500. I usually shift at 6200. I found a lunati that I kind of like the specs of what do you guys think? Seems a bit more in my power range

They say that can dose great with spray aswell. Thinking that will be my next big purchase to hold me till my 351 is done. Once I finish it I'm sticking the 306 in a ranger or miata , wich ever I find first.

The current set up works but I think I could get a decent gain out of a diffrent cam. Like I said , I'm not sure what's there but it'snot very Aressive Just taking a rough guess I'd say something along the lines of a E cam. 440-460ish is what it sounds like to me. If you like I'll get a sound clip and post it up for you guys.

E cams drop off well before 6500 if it was a alphabet cam it could be the F 303 ... As much as people hate on the alphabet cams I've seen gt 40 setup cars make over 280 rwhp with the e303 so what's wrong with it again . If you want a agressive cam go solid roller . It's the way to go if you like to rev

I've had nonthing but problems with letter cams. If this is one in it now , it's the only one that's lasted longer than a year for me.
