what diff for my 96

i have a 96 cobra and i'm gett a 8.8 built and i don't no what diff. to put in it any suggestions

Put in a Detroit TruTrak (not a locker). No clutches and about the most bullet proof diff there is.

You have to compare what kind of power the guy in the article was putting down compared to what you are going to be putting down. Then decide if you think that will be a problem for you.

You can find an article on every rear ever made blowing up if you look hard enough.

It depends on what you plan to do with the car. If drag race then get a Detroit Locker, if street or road course, then get a Detroit TrueTrac or Torsen T2.
