Well... I took my 96 cobra vert to the track last night and got 2 runs it..
The only mod is a mac catback.. I have bald Nitto 555r tires on the rear.
One time I weighed it with me in it and it was 3790.. Another time with me in it was 3660... :dontknow:

First run:
33psi in the tires. I just drove around the waterbox and just spun the tires to get the rock and stuff off.. Launched it at 2600 rpms

2.1 60ft
1/8 9.08
MPH 77.28
1/4 14.14
MPH 97.95

Second run
18lbs in the tires. Went through the waterbox, did a rolling burnout. Launched the car at 3400 rpms
60ft 2.06
1/8 8.95
MPH 77.75
1/4 13.53
MPH 99.30

Not bad for being on Nitto's and pretty much stock. You can get the 60' better even with the nitto's, you really have to heat them up to get them to stick but you can get 1.9's out of them. Others get more then that but they usually have modded suspension and a well prepped track. Not bad for your first time out, at least you took down an EVO. All wheel drive and cuts a 2.052 60' what a douche lol

Nittos need to be cooked, BADLY you need to get them hot and then keep it spinning for a few more seconds. As far as your times, good job. Keep going, too bad cobra's are bigs and the vert makes it weigh a ton!!! haha
