What do you think of the new hood?

Just got the new look on the hood and wanted to see what everyone thought of it. Still needs fine tunin and the Mach 1 lip will be goin on or a cobra bumper will be goin on. Here they are...

The scoop does look crooked. But I like it. It is very different, and fits the car nicely the way you did it. :thumb:

I do need to do some fine tuning.. but I was told that there will be some slant to it because it needs room to "shake" when revved.

FST-HUH... I can do that for you on saturday.
5.0kid... it did hurt but I had to look at the big picture. If you get a new intake (150-200) and a new hood (350-500) and paint (150-350), it adds up. I got all of those things for that amount or less.

Looks fantastic, I'm impressed with how the Shaker looks on our cars. If I had the $$ and the testicular fortitude to cut my hood... I'd give it a try.

I gotta agree with you on the testicular fortitude part. I didn't think I would have a problem but half way through when there was a bunch of holes in the hood and a gigantic one in the middle, I was tearin up a little bit. But after I got it on I was f-in stoked and sat around and revved it for 10 mins... hah. Thanks again for the compliments everyone. I have a few more things going on... like the lip the badges goin back on and some cobra brakes, so I will keep these pages updated.
