I've got a 97 mustang gt that the previous owner chopped the whole exhaust off, so it drones incredibly bad and doesn't sound very good. I just got a set of hedman long tubes and was gonna buy a flowtech x pipe but don't know if it actually will bolt on my headers. I want the exhaust to be routed the right way and use the factory hangers. Will a catback like the pypes violator fit in the factory spots?

If the mid-pipe is made for the year car you have, it should come with the correct hanger locations. As for it bolting onto the headman headers, just be sure the connecting mounts are the same. Working with long tubes are tricky. When long tubes are installed and you go to bolt on the mid-pipe, youll find the headers collector distance width might be to wide or to narrow for a direct bolt up. Then youll need either a ratcheting strap to draw the headers together or a jack to seperate them. Either way, headers become a royal pain on theses platforms. Not to mention low ground clearance issues. The exhaust beyond the mid-pipe should still bolt on like factory. Good luck and plan on extra down time just incase things dont come together like they should
