what heads ????

ok in a couple of weeks im going to be getting some heads and im considering buying some edelbrock performer heads. i can get them pretty cheap but dont know if i should get the performer 5.0 heads or the rpm.i also got crane 1.72 rockers which i can reuse on the performer 5.0 heads but on the rpm they come with studs. i can i take out the studs and just run pedestal rockers???im not looking for big horsepower gain. i want good easy to do aluminum heads.so what do u guys think the RPM or the 5.0???? anybody use any??? and what were ur experience and or modifications u had to do????

Bah I have no experience with either of those 2, Wish I could help. I like afr's and trickflows.

I have the edelbrock performer heads with 1.7 RR's,edelbrock performer intake,and I must say the combo is pretty good.

No. If you want to run pedestal mount rockers then buy pedestal mount heads ... a lot of heads are offered in both varieties.

the reason i was asking its cause the rpm heads dont have the smog hole which is a plus.
