what I did with some leftover paint!

Okay! I know most of you will disagree, and say I should have gone with my first choice, but I had a minimal amount of paint left over, not enough to do anything really important with or paint anything worth while so I had a real tough time trying to decide what to do with it!!!

my choices were:

1. paint my side view mirror's

2. do something about the abnoxious looking black double rise cowl hood that the last owner installed and was too cheap to have painted...

so I chose the hood... here is the end result! keep in mind it's just temporary I will soon have the entire front clip repainted as soon as I get a cobra front bumper :bootyshake: But I just couldnt stand the look of the entire hood in flat black! it just looked like the car was in an accident and I just bought a hood and didnt have enough money to have it painted...

actually the more I look at the car while it sits in my driveway the more I like it!!! I still want to paint the mirror's I just couldnt stand the way that hood looked all black any longer...

looks nice. if it were me, if you had enough paint, i probably would have done the side mirrors anyway, just because of the fact that you plan on having the hood painted anyway. but its kinda a coin flip at this point so either would have been an improvement.

Looks great man, I am also curious...did you spray bomb that? It def looks a little flatter than the factory paint...but nice job regardless.

Stealing my design I see . My hood was based yellow then they painted the black stripe on. I love the look, really flows good with your car!

yup that was me im sure! I live in Kissimmee! unfortunately my newly painted hood didnt last long since no adhesion promoter was applied before the paint was laid! @#@$%^%$#
