Well headers on the 4.6 are a PITA from what ive heard(thats why i dont have any on yet),
but my setup is a UPR o/r x pipe and weld in flows. ure only really going to see some small gains
from the muffs(if any) your gonna get your moneys worth on headers and o/r mid pipe. Your
personal opinion is the only thing that matters when it comes to the midpipe. whether its "H"
or "X" you will still see a little bit of a gain. Long tube headers are better than shorties, but
are much harder to install and the gains you see will be in the bottom end. If you are just
goin after horsepower cheaply i would suggest a good nitrous setup with a tune for it. that
will give you the most bang for your buck. However, our mid pipes are very restrictive due
to the 6 cats that is has on it and the stock manifolds are s***. so both will help you now,
and later when u do more substantial mods. PI intake is also a good way to pick up a few
horsies on the cheap.

LT's- biggest gains but PITA to install and you may have ground clearance issues
O/R X- Exotic, raspy sound for more HP
O/R H- Old school rumble sound for more TQ

It looks like your going with the O/R X. Right?
If you're going with the x-pipe you're gonna want a straight through muffler.

www.aeroexhaust.com/ <===these guys have mufflers that are dyno proven. I have heard them in person and they sound amazing.

That's actually kinda cool. I've always liked the name "Xavier". We have a baby due in April and if it's a boy "Xavier" is one of the names we picked out.
I thought your screenname was something in a different language.

lol, nope, still in english. it actually doesnt sound too bad if you say it backwards either. some of my friends started calling me reivax actually. (ree-vax) and it was either that as my s/n, or a play on "ender", but i figured most people wont know where thats from and it would take too long to explain.

and i was named after my dad, kinda. his name was Javier, and instead of having 2 Javier's in the family, my parents decided on Xavier. kinda cool too, since ive always kinda liked the x-men

i was wondering this a while ago too. and i think i decided im going to go with an o/r H pipe but idk if it will bolt right up or it will require welding or anything. with stock mufflers.

also will it trip a cel if you don't have cats? and still with no cats you can't pass safety or emissions right?

It should bolt right up. Sometimes the CEL won't be tripped and sometimes it will. Some guys pass emissions all the time with an O/R mid-pipe.

Those pipes are for Long tube headers. You want the ones for shortys or factory manifolds. They should have them. Check our classifieds as well as ebay.
