I have set gear lash on the M61A1 20mm cannon in the F-15E Strike Eagle a few times so I don't see how this could be any more difficult with good instructions.

That, good sir, is awesome.

Fix the A/C hose. I never understood why people are so concerned with a few pounds in a streetcar. Who cares? It might save you .03 seconds in a quarter-mile drag race... what difference does that make for a streetcar?

Paul.

Completely agree, and it ticks me off when people selling Mustangs have the A/C removed or bypassed. Down here, not having A/C is completely retarded, it's freaking 100+ until the sun goes down, and even then it doesn't get below the low 80's at night. I'm not going to buy someone's ghetto Mustang that doesn't have A/C. /Rant

I live in the desert in Idaho and we have our share of 100+ temps here. I drove the car all last summer and never used the AC once. I also had a Porsche with a targa top and no AC for four years here. I can't imagine the AC keeping me very cool with the top down. I would think all the cool air would blow right out at 65+ MPH. And I didn't bypass it to go faster, I did it to save on fuel.

First of all, if fuel consumption was a concern, you wouldn't be driving a V8 mustang.

Second, it doesn't save any fuel to have it hooked up either. It's only when you turn it on that it used marginally more fuel. Otherwise, the belt just freewheels when the A/C clutch isn't engaged.

Disabling or removing A/C in anything but a full-blown racecar is retarded.

Paul.
