h pipes sound decent but too common for me. plus x pipes the same job as h-pipes do only better. the purpose is to balance out the exhaust pulses. looking at the designs between the two its pretty obvious which one does better. the x-pipes do a better job of exhaust scavenging also. they make a little more hp than h-pipes. prochambers are ok. they sound more like an x-pipe to me. they are basically a cross between an x pipe and h pipe.

once i get a job im planning on get a bassani catted mid pipe and I think i've decided to go with magnaflow mufflers or bassani street comp mufflers. the only thing is that you can't buy Just the bassani street comp mufflers from where i've looked

I only wanted mufflers so what mufflers come in the magnaflow catbacks or where can i get bassani street comp mufflers?

If you are going to buy just mufflers, I'd look into the Borla XR-1s. They sound beastly with an X-pipe and flow really well.

Make sure you get new muffler bearings if you get the uppercase B pipe

x pipes are cool because they give you the raspy tone. i didn't really realize how much of a difference it made in tone until I heard a buddy of mine (whose mustang has the same flows as mine) let me listen to his car. It had an o/r h. It's a lot deeper than mine, but I like the rasp that comes with WOT.

Maybe you can base your decision off that lol...

so if everything goes right, im in line to win an o/r x pipe on ebay for like 40 bucks. i'll swap it for my prochamber and see what i like better
