My headlights are not clear at all, I know this is common for mustangs. My automotive teacher told me to use toothpaste which clear it up a small amount for a bit of two days. So did anybody use something else that would make it pretty clear that will last.

I've read Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish takes the yellow right out of the headlights and makes them look new, i bought some but have not tried it yet.

i tried a rare method probably no one has heard of :D. get a white cloth preferably, n wipe down you oil dipstick, with that burned oil, wipe your headlights in small portions.you should see the yellow start to come off slowly, then you wet sand it and top it of with the plastic x from meguirs!it a long process but should help.

yea acetone would probably take the color out of those headlights. wet sanding probably won't do much/
