Title pretty much says it all. Just wondering what you guys think my 1/4 mile time will be
I have a 94 GT coupe MODS: Shifter, bassani o/r x-pipe, pullies, c&l intake, k&n filter, 275 nitto 555's in the back, maxim motorsports rear shocks... and a fairly good driver.
I know somewhere in the low-mid 14's, but wondering what you guys think.
Thanks

How about if I go with equal length headers and the new KB s/c? With new injectors, fuel pump, etc.

hard telling, see where you are now before you start throwing tons of power at it. No one can give you an exact time for what it will run could be anywhere from a 14.2 to a 15.8, just go run it and find out.

Get some track time in before you start spending money. You'll probably run 15s until you get some practice. Your first mod before anything else should be gears and sticky tires.

I just like power and a little s/c whine. I like spinning out when I take off (just because its fun).
But yeah, My next mods will be kenne bell s/c, headers, fuel pump, fuel injectors, guages, 3.73's, and headlights.
Thanks a bunch!

sounds like a good mod list. Get some driving time at the track now b/c even if you went w/ those mods you probably still wont have stellar times w/ no previous track times and w/ a KB your going to be seriously traction deficient in the low end so traction is a must.

How do you figure?

Probably becuase the poster has little to no track experiance and his car, even with a hell of a driver and slicks would be lucky to pull off a 14.1

Im gonna say he's looking more towards high 14s

make sure you spin as much as possibly that way you can avoid driveline damage from the shock of a dead hook. that will keep your 60's in the 2.7-2.8 range and prove all of these guys wrong when you run a 16.30 @ 83 mph.

I know my car with just drag slicks would break in to the 13s with no mods and not a lot of track experience.

exactly

Plus I wouldnt feel that great about running slicks on a stock rear end. 28 Spline Axles and slicks are not a good combo. Not saying they would break on the first trip, some people get lucky, some dont.

Preload the drive line and you will be fine. But if you just side step the cluch I can see breaking anything.

Post some current time slips.

What is your 60 foot with that 14.4 run?

It seems unlikeley for you to get into the 13s with a stock car and just slicks

Here is a better idea, put in some 31 spline axles and you have nothing to worry about
