What would a custom cam cost?

For those of you that have purchased a custom cam, what was the cost for your custom cam? I want a rought estimate because im planing my build and trying to figure out a build budget.

The first one I bought was from Anderson Ford Motorsport and was around 289. The one I bought for my last motor was from Jay Allen @ Camshaft Innovations and was a steel core hyd. roller piece for 325. The one I'm getting for my new motor is gonna be from Ed Curtis @ FTI and will be a billet core hyd. roller and is gonna be about 375.

i got a billet core from camshaft innovations, it was $400

but i ordereded ALL the parts for my valvetrain from jay. Cam, springs, locks and retainers, timing set, lifters... $1136 ater, im one happy camper!

FTI is $325 I believe.

usually between $275-$400, they seem to be average price of $300 though.

Yeah the basic steel core cams are 325, billets are 375.
