Hmm yea interesting Idunno... I still kinda like the smoothed bezel but yet, its different. The one filled in will take me some time to get use too. they both seem to be missing something...

Yeah, I did it years ago. I did the hood snorkels, antenna, badges and trunk too

Yeah, I had found your old thread and it didn't even dawn on me that you were the one posting the pictures until I threw that picture up there. Anyways, cool car, I dig the completely shaved scoop, I think it gives it a more "concept car" look. I'm not crazy about the heat extractor hoods though. I shaved the badges on my wingless decklid but I didn't want to fill in the license plate surround because I've seen some of the bonding stuff on other cars eventually 'crack' or after just a couple years you can see the outline again...

how has your decklid held up CWO? I'd post a pick of my buddies car but I don't think I have any.

I don't have any of the trunk. I sold the car with it done and bought it back with it stock. I can only imagine it cracked at some point though.

Have you ever really looked? There is no way to hide the seem. Most people when they check them out just look at the tips and never notice how it joins.

Yeah, in fact after you mentioned it i went and looked up a bunch of pics, didn't see any cars with the same extra seam that yours has. The reason you don't normally need to hide it is because it replaces the stock side skirt and you should only end up with the same seam by the door, yours almost looks like it was put over an existing side skirt.

Right it replaces the seem that the stock side skirt has but there is no way to cover it with out doing what I am going to do. Trust me if it was mounted on top of the stock or another sideskirt it would really stick out. That pic from that angle shows the seem off nicely, from above looking down its hardly noticeable.

can you show me another car with the same double seam that you're talking about? obviously every one is going to have where the seam meets the body, but yours seems to have an extra.

Kinda funny. I feel like it updates it considerably. Especially when you look at every Mustang since 2005. Different strokes.
