First time I ever noticed some odd little cooler up by my radiator. The hoses disappear of into the mess of other stuff under the engine and I can't easily trace them. Is there some kind of factory transmission cooler on the 1994 GT? I have a manual trans. Or perhaps its some kind of power steering fluid cooler? Its roughly 4"x12". Those are not exact but that is just a guess. Didn't measure it.

It's a power steering cooler, GTs have just a loop, Cobras get a little nicer IIRC. I took mine off when I did the blower install, "supposedly" there shouldn't be a difference in performance unless you road race/auto X the car.

I'm glad that my car came with one. I've had power steering pumps fail in an Fbody and a VW because of excessive heat caused by extended high rpm operations. As far as I can tell my power steering pump is stock, so that I means I've got 235k miles on it, and it still works well, even though the car is tracked.
