When changing spark plugs?

When changing the spark plugs in my 96 gt do I need to do this when the car is cold or hot?

I would suggest cold just out of the ease of fighting the heat and the expansion of the plugs from the heat making them tighter and harder to get out possibly. If you let the engine cool down for a little bit then you would be ok no doubt, because I have done that before. Just remember anti-seize!! A friend of mine had a brand new 4V big bore and didnt even get 100 miles on it and he went to check the plugs and stripped one hole, had to tear the motor down again which was not cheap...lol

Thanks Mr.jones4.6 for your advice that is what I was kinda thinking but I wanted to make sure.

cold for the exact same reason stated above, except with our cars you have to be careful because the spark plug threads suck d*** from the factory... so, the colder the motor the better, because it would suck terribly to strip a spark plug hole, or cut a few threads... :-(
