When one thing goes wrong so does another :(

Recently my window motor went out, got that fixed but now have yet another issue... Today i went to move my car out of the garage and the clutch pedal was rock stiff, and released back up very slowly, it also didnt have much travel. I know i have an aftermarket clutch not sure on brand though. About 4 weeks ago i had a summit racing clutch cable and quadrant put in. Is this the problem? Or could i have a bad clutch fork? Really starting to get frustrated with this car lately.

Sounds like it might be the clutch cable binding up or stretched. At least you wont have to drop the transfer to ck it out.

Just remember, if it has tits or tires, it will always aggravate you!!

I might also add its extremly hard to put in any gear and grinds trying to put it in reverse. Turn the car off and it goes into any gear easily.

Hmm, sounds sketchy.. When's the last time you serviced the fluid in that trans? The grinding/hard shifting could also be a synchronizer issue. It's a T5 right?

Never I need to. Something is really messed up and I'm already getting pissed off at it. I might try changing the fluid tonight. Dumb question but where exactly do I fill it and check for correct fluid level?

There's a recommended method BUT I normally just remove the shifter to pour it in there. Just remove the fill plug, have a buddy watch it as you pour in fluid and stop when it begins to leak. Use a bead of RTV to seal the shifter base.

Same process.. I have that trans also, it's a bit more difficult to shift compared to a T5 but nothing like you're describing. Hopefully the fluid helps.

Solved: Ended up being the cable. Took out the cable and it was all twisted. Put in a ford racing cable and it works flawless.

Great, thanks for the update. I still recommend switching to a synthetic fluid in the trans, made my TR3550 easier to deal with.

I just went thru that with my fox. If you have any more issues , steeda cables are junk.... MM has a really nice one but it's $80 or the factory oem cable is awesome. I scored one off e-bay for $19 shipped
