where can I get a fuel pump for my 98?

Ok so I know I can go with a SVT focus pump, vortech or Aviator pump, but can I use an 03/04 cobra pump? I need a somewhat cheap replacement and Ford wants over 400 dollars for an OEM replacement which is just crazy. I really dont need any room to grow as far as fuel goes so a stock 98 pump would be best for me as long as I can find a cheaper alternative other than going through the Stealership. Would NAPA or Pep Boys carry a pump? Any other suggestions?

I don't know about new or aftermarket pumps, but I got my SVT Focus pump for $75 used. They normally go for about $100 used and will leave you plenty of room to upgrade in the future. Is a direct replacement as well: take the old pump out, drop the Focus one in. That simple.

if you have returnless you can get a walbro 255 built for a 99+

if you have a return system you can use the ones for the 96-97

I believe for the return systems you can also use the walbro 255 for the 99+ reguardless of the fact that they are vari voltage pumps

Not looking to spend anymore than 150, so used would be better. I'm not going to run a walbro pump because of my budget and also seen through searching the site that there is too many conflicting stories. I have a return system with a vari voltage pump and all other pumps I heard requires me to hardwire them to a constant 12V source...I dont want to do that. If I have 2 lines comming into my fuel rail it means I have a return system right? lol

I have one laying around from my 98GT... Its fully dressed with the sump and float and everything... The previous owner said he replaced it about 10k before I bought the car off him..

I'll do $45 shipped?

OEM Motorcraft pump, sump, floater,strainer... pump had 15 or 16k since it was replaced by the PO...

Its ready to go.. Just need to put it in a box with an address on it.
