where is rear diff vent hose location ?

Just change my gear oil on my 95 gt, store dont carry 75w90, so I get mobil 1 75w140 its ok ? and my rear diff cover dont have the magnetic ? and 1 last question, where is the rear diff vent hose ? because the gear oil came out with bunch of bubble, and i beleive it cause of water, just wonder where the vent hose for the rear diff at, thanks !

Ive been in quite a few stock 8.8 Rears and i have never seen a Magnet on the Diff cover, Some people if they go in a rear to do upgrades or Maint. they will put a magnet on the cover to try and keep loose metal/debris that may come from the posi unit or clutches from getting back up into the diff. Just like a Magnetic on the bottom of a Auto Trans pan

My 8.8 has a vent hose (IRS), And the SRA rear like you have also has a Vent it is just without a hose.

Looks like this on top of the rear...Same vent from 1979-2004.

thanks, hehe mabe cause I change so many camaro rear diff fluid, that is why i note these 8.8 dont have magnetic.

It might be worth getting the right weight gear oil for the car. and don't forget the LSD additive.

I seen couple running 75w140 mobil 1 on these 8.8 no problem.
