where is temperature sensor on 04 3.8 v6

I have crawled all around the engine bay looking for the little sucker (coolant temperature sensor) but just cant seem to find it...ive looked at pictures, videos, other forums, and nothing. i have reason to believe that its bad and is the reason why my fan will not kick on...only problem is i cant find it. so if anyone knows where its at it would be greatly appreciated
