you mean like civics and any car with no torque..aka hondas haha...they need a high gear to multiply thier torque so they can actually go anywhere.

This is so true but I don't even think those owners even spend the money on a mod like gears. Especially if the gears don't come with a STICKER . But really, I was just messing with the guys who recommended gear ratios lower than a 3.73 (meaning 4.10's, 4.30's 4.56, etc.).

In reality, the ideal gear ratio will be one that will fit your mods (current or future) and driving style. So if you read the original post you'll see that the owner had basically a stk. 95 GT and YES a lower gear would be ideal for now.

I really like my 3.55 gears, imo they are just enough and are still somewhat highway friendly.

3:55 / 3:73 for everyday daily driver.

4:10 for weekend warrior

3.73 all the way 4 a stock motor car with some mods

3.55 just doesnt give it that kick in 4th that you need 2 move that weight.

4.10 if was a mod motor no problem

4.30 if was 4v cobra pre terminator
