I have to agree with PGTTech on this one, you'll be happier with your gains from a supercharger than the h/c/i. Nothing wrong with the HCI but just know there's a good chance you won't break 300whp, if you want over 300 boost might be a better option. You can find used supercharger kits all the time for a reasonable price.

Don't let the price of heads and a cam fool you either. I didn't even put an intake on my car (used the stock cobra) when i did my heads and cam and i probably spent over 2g. all the gaskets alone are well over $100 not to mention hardened pushrods, rocker arms etc and the stuff you'll just want to change while you're in there too, lifters, timing chain, water pump etc. then you get to deal with the fun of the car idling with the new cam. Just saying weigh both options...

ya i've been looking around for used, a friend at my brothers shop actually has a side business porting and polishing heads so i might get him to do my stock heads, and just get a different intake and wait till i find a deal on a blower

I wouldn't say HCI is a waste by any means, one good thing about doing it first is that when you do a blower later on you see that much more of a gain from it. If you're deciding between HCI or a blower though, definitely boost.

lol, you can make the same argument for doing a blower and then adding H/C/I.

LOL.....threads of this type always make for a good debate. You can always tell who is running a charger.

true but in terms of removing and installing stuff that's kind of working backwards... either way if you're going to do both it doesn't really matter. Boost usually has a higher upfront cost than h/c/i though which is why i suggested the hci first.

who all makes blowers or even a turbo kit for the 94/95 gt?

vortech, paxton, kb, procharger, powerdyine... B&G and i know there are more turbo kits.

You are going to be limited to a stock, worn block no matter which direction you go. I would do a gt40 head and intake and tfs 1 cam. Then slap a blower on until it gives.

I'm H/C/I, bolt ons, and giggle gas. I've set up a couple hundred 302s and modulars, I get to see sucess or failure at other's expense. Some customers you just can't convince, you warn them as much as you can, and in the end, they still think they're right. Eh, whatever, let them enjoy 280whp.
