Alright, well theres a lot of debate looking online through various forums and half of it never gets a real answer.

My question is, with a turbocharged 302 what should i run?

The options-
Standard volume/Standard Pressure
Standard Volume/High Pressure
High Volume/Standard Pressure
High Volume/High Pressure

Also, when is an aftermarket pan a must? I would love to get one but funds are tight on this build so is it a must have item?

Streets, but i honestly drive like an asshole and like im on a road course..... I like to take turns as fast as possible.

The car wont be a race car but i would like to make atleast 400hp to the rear wheels through an auto.

Stock pan.

If you REALLY insist on getting a new pan, I would get the Moroso pan...but your stock pan will be just fine.

Just use a standard, normal, plain jane pump for cryin' out loud. Before you install it, remove the bottom cover and inspect the gerotor and machining on the casting for any nicks or burrs. Then slap that baby back together and install it.

I put in a Melling high volume standard pressure, I figured while i'm in there a little extra oil couldn't hurt, stock pan has worked fine for me. I got it from Advance Auto and it came with a hardened driveshaft.
