which one?

im indecisive and cant choose which to buy first. either the pi intake or a sct flash tuner. both are going to be bought sooner or later but which one do you guys think i should go with?

Get the intake first then get the tuner with a tune for the mods you have. Mail order tunes are alright, but for best results you should get your car dyno tuned.

Local shop, I bought it when they first came out so it was on sale. Now they sell for $350 in most places. You can probably find it online for that much.

if you do happen to get a xcal3, Don at lasota racing is the guy to call. the guy knows his stuff and on his custom tune(not dyno) i knocked off almost 4 tenths in the 1/4.

to answer your question though, get the PI intake first. then you can take full advatage of it with a tuner.

^^lol I keep hearing great things about these here tuners...

As for the intake, you'll be quite pleased if you choose to go that route. I guess if you wanted to view this in terms of cost, the tuner isn't really all that much more than the intake and the parts needed for the swap (assuming you buy new, if you choose to go used you'll obviously spend much less $$).

I have a PI intake I need to get rid of.. I'm new so I'm probably not allowed to advertise my crap, but oh well.
I'd have to agree with everyone else. PI Intake and then tune. That way in the end you have a tune that's meant to include your intake. PI Intake makes a big difference in 3rd gear
