Why is it when you get new parts......

they come at a time when other " normal " bills pop up :wall: :wall: :wall: you guys know I bought my KB about 3 weeks ago now and I need my fuel system upgrades for it to be put on. Well I have a hang up with those and thats the fact that this month hit my wallet HARD :nonono: :nonono:. Homeowners ins, Car ins ( my wifes and mine for the year ) and contractors workmans comp all hit at the SAME frigging time :knuppel2:. It makes a 550 fuel upgrade seem like trying to buy fort knox :rollinglaugh: :rollinglaugh: :rollinglaugh:, if I wasnt such a tight ass Id have the parts bought / all put on / and have dyno numbers and vids by now :blah2: :blah2: but I HATE spending large chunks of cash over very short periods of time. Hell its only been about 2 weeks before I bought this KB that I got my slicks/racing wheel's .......but I just COULDNT turn down the deal I was offered on my KB-JLP intake combo :dancing6: :dancing6:

So for me the wait continues........till I collect enough pennies to buy some necessary parts :wall:

well since im pretty much pucked on this deal, im going to go ahead and get what i want to go on the L so I can take care of the odds and ends while its in the shop. In addition to the new fuel stuff, im going to get Metco traction bars / a Dual Pass heat exchanger / Intake elbow / Innovative wideband /.......and...................a Circle D torque converter :naughty: Im just going to be " cool " over the summer while I get my cash together for all the new goodies :rolleyes2: everything should cost me about 2500 bucks total but the L will be in somewhat of a done mode so to speak. With the only thing left ( BIG ) being the built bottom end and heads+cams. I will have all the other piddly things I want. My goal is to have everything on and have my dyno tune by the end of September so I can hit the track by the first of October. Just in time for the cool weather im gunning for mid to upper 11's and should have no trouble attaining my goal :thumb:

My car ALWAYS, I mean ALWAYS breaks in some form or fashion right before both my birthday and christmas. I seriously have gotten car parts, or money for car parts, as my present pretty much ever since I've had a drivers license.

I've had heads, intake, injectors, maf, TB, pulleys, 4.10's and Longtubes sitting in boxes in my living room for months now, pretty sad when part boxes start to become furniture :crying:

Right after I got them, I got hit wit some massive student loan payments and some other unexpected bills and ever since, every time I get enough money to buy the last few remaining parts (lifters, ARP head studs, and gaskets - about $400) something comes up and takes the money. I'm seriously about to just give in and use my credit card like the rest of debt stricken america lol.
