Why is my ebrake light coming on when my e brake is off?

Its coming on every time i engage the brakes, and now, sometimes when I am not braking...whey is this? Also, my brother swears he deleted my check engine light with his tuner for his 99 and it is starting to re-appear. Will his SCT even work on my year cuz its for his year, a 99. whats going on here guys?

check your fluid level...
minee always does that when the fluid is low

ok thanks man...lol i was telling my mom about it yest. and she was like " well, generally that has to do with the fluid level being too low...you should check it, sean." Lol mom, thanks! She is like Mrs. Fix-it..no joke.
