Widest rim on the rear of a 94-95 GT

Just wondering what is the largest rim you can put on the back of a 94-95 GT WITHOUT mini tubbing and/or rolling your wheel lip, and keeping the quad shock, or even removing the quads.....

Some ppl can sneak the 315/35-17 or 315/30-18... IM about to try it out. If you dont want to flip quad or anything then pry have to go 295 0r 305.....

SO im thinking you can go 10.5 if you can get a 295 or a 305 on there with out changing anything... I'm sure someone else will come in and let us know.

I'm wondering about a 15" Drag rim whats the widest and the Back spacing? again without rolling wheel lip..?

I assume 15x10 to be safe... Back spacing somewhere around 6.83 or soo....

No matter how big you go, i would recommend rolling that rear lip... Better safe than sorry. My buddy is running a 15X8 with a 305 on it... but thats a fox... I would think there's less room in a foxbody, than an SN95.

Foxes have a lot less room than us, I think the max they usually run in the rear is a 9" wide rim.

depending on the offset,i have 10's with 295's and it rubs,on high hills

I have 18x11 in the rear with 315 30's i had to remove the quad shocks and the passenger side tire rubs the inside of the wheelwell a little on speed bumps.I'm going to run 1/2" spacers and it should be alright

I know someone running some 17/10.5 03/04 cobra rims with sumitomo 315/35/17 tires on his 89 coupe. Looks sick...

i have 315/30 17 on mine its barely enough clearance but it dosnt rub at all

I'm running the 17x10.5 rim with a nitto 315-35-17 drag radial without any problems. Also my rim has a 20mm offset for the rear, which makes the rim come out to the edge of the fender. By running this offset, I don't have to use a spacer. Has made my car look more aggressive which matches the sound of the 342 I have under the hood. If you are wandering how they hook, I ran a 1.8 60ft time without spinning at the track. :dancing6:

Give me a day or two and I'll get some pics. I also have the fender flares and the rims helps fill the fender well. My car isn't lowered, but that is in the near future.

I run a 17x10.5 with nitto 315/35/17 drag radial for the street and i run a 15x10 draglite with 275/50/15 for the track. i do not rub and never rolled my lip or anything. I am lowered with eibach pro-kit and lakewood 50/50s out back
