depends on years.... if you have a 1996+ try and get one off a 1996-2001.

he can use any bag up to '04, all he has to do is change the plastic connection from his old bag to the new bag if its from a 01-04, takes no more then 5 minutes to take the connection apart and switch them around.

i guess if he's skilled enough and willing to do it.

i purchased air bags to fit my application... im not comfortable with toying with airbag parts. if he is, thats fine.

If you were able to re-wire your tail lights, you can surely do the air-bag.

"could" do and "want" to do are two different things....

dont want to risk getting in an accident and my air bags not deploying because i did a poor job on my sodomy. i mean, sodering....

if he wants to do it, so be it. i chose not to. already removed my front crumple zone, dont want to remove airbag reliability as well.

Theres no soldering or wire cutting involved, the connector simply is pieced apart by pulling out the red retainer inside the plug using a small flat screwdriver, next you pull out the pins using the small screwdriver again. Once this is done all he has to do is remember which way the two wires were positioned so as to not get the negative/positive mixed up. I'm running '03 cobra bags in my 96 since I swapped to an '03 interior.
