Why would you ever want to go with the horizontals?

Yes... but I'd keep it the same because we (94/95's) are becoming a rare breed

Lol Horizontals are cool, but should on be on 94-95, verts belong on 96-98. I do respect that a vert owner actually wants horizontals though, that rarely happens.

I was stunned when I read it, don't see that at all.

I feel like Rice_slayer does. Keep it with your year model. But at the same time, I try to understand people's wants are very different! They will work, if that is what you want to do. It's your car, dude. You make it how you want it!!

IMO...I think 94-95 tails belong on 94-95s and the same with 96-98s.

Its a big statement of the differences in the years...so I wouldn't change either direction.

However...I am almost becoming partial to 94/95 tails as of recently...not sure why, I just like them...maybe because the perpendicular 96-98s kind of clash with the flow of the body lines?

I think you hit it Jon...they really DO flow better with the SN95 body....I know vertical tail lights are more traditional Mustang but on our cars the horizontals just look better. Now on the New Edge I reverse my thinking.

I think both tail lights flow just fine w/ the body, and if the 95 tails didn't look so cheap i'd probably still be running them. The verticals just have a cleaner look. Regardless of which ones you have they both can be made to look good, but I actually like how people assume my car is a 4.6, it's a decent convo starter.
