So I yanked my ecu out of my 94 gt to put in my new sct eliminator chip from AM and low and behold the car already has a Jet chip installed by the previous owner. Well I want to put the JET chip out of the 94 into my 95gt vert both of which have the same computer T4M0. I checked JETs website and there is a different part # for 94 and the 95 gt's. Will this work or am I going to fry something?

If the PCM's are the same, I don't see why it wouldn't work :dontknow:

Those Jet chips don't do anything anyways. :angry7:

Just because the ECU is the same code, doesn't mean the tune within is the same. I personally wouldn't do it.

Just spoke with JET and they said the chips are different BUT... He said worst thing that could happen is CEL could come on and poor engine performance could result. So I'm still gonna give it shot. If it sux then out it goes!

Most likely all it is going to do is advance timing which you can do yourself.

If that's all these things do (advance timing) then the 280.00 JET charges for these is kinda a rip...
